Tammy Melton is the founder and
president of Legacy Ministries. She received a Bachelor of Music
Education from Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia and a Bachelor of Theology from Christian Life School of Theology in
Columbus, Georgia. She was ordained in September of 2000 with
Servanthood Ministries,
an interdenominational leadership training and credentialing
organization. She currently serves Servanthood Ministries as a
teacher and the Area Director Coordinator. Tammy is a
"Competent Communicator" with Toastmasters.
Tammy has served the local church
both on staff and as a lay minister in the areas of music,
children’s and youth ministry, Sunday School teacher for all ages,
women’s ministry, and training and equipping people in the church.
Her heart’s passion is to help others find their spiritual gifts and
motivate them to get involved in the ministry of the church. She is
also a speaker for churches, retreats, seminars, and mission trips
abroad.
Tammy and Bill Melton have been
married since 1986 and have two daughters, Amy, born in 1995, and Amber,
born in 1998. They currently live in Fayetteville, Georgia. Their home
church is
Trinity
Fellowship Assembly of God
in Sharpsburg, Georgia where Rev.
Mark Anthony is the senior pastor.

Bill Melton received
his Bachelor of Music and
Masters of Music from Columbus
State
University
in Columbus, Georgia. He has been teaching for 23 years
and has served as the band director or Whitewater Middle School in Fayetteville,
Georgia for the last 18 years.
Bill has faithfully used his music abilities
and passions
to serve the Lord in the local church for worship as well
as special music. He has performed, directed and arranged music for vocal and instrumental groups. Bill
desires to be used of God to provide musicians with the
tools and training needed to help bring the people of
the church into the fullness of worship. He has also
served the Lord in other areas of the church, including
teaching Sunday School and training classes, directing
Sunday School and serving on the deacon board. Bill leads
the Legacy Praise Band and also
oversees all media related activities for Legacy Ministries.
